Week of 1/29 - 2/2

This past week in ISM I reflected upon the research showcase, and everything I learned from the experience. The ISM Research Showcase, was an opportunity for all Frisco ISD ISM students to showcase all their hard work and research through the first half of the semester. This was an amazing opportunity to gain real world experience, and learn more about the professional world. During the showcase I was able to display my original work, and all my previous research. After reflection upon the research showcase, I began planning for my final product. I have completed my rough product proposal, for my initial idea for the final project. I will be meeting with my mentor, Dr. Callan this week in hopes of revising and editing my ideas, to hopefully come up with a finalized final product idea. For the upcoming week, I will begin preparing for my first mentor visit. I am excited for the opportunity to meet with Dr. Callan, and begin our mentorship. In order to prepare I will meet with my teacher and finalize a plan of what to discuss, and how to be professional during the first visit. I will use this first mentor visit as a learning opportunity, and a time to plan, and organize for the rest of the year.
