Week of 4/30 - 5/4

This past week in ISM I have completed my final product. I am extremely excited for how it has turned out. In total I put in 27 hours of work into my product. I ended up creating a case presentation over 2 cases I have been able to follow this year. I used the information I gain from the cases to create a presentation that could be sued for medical students to learn from the challenges faced throughout both cases. I then used their information and my first hand experience working with the patients to determine what medical students could learn from the complications within these two cases. Within my presentation, I walked through each step of their case from the beginning of their symptoms to their current point in treatment. By doing this I was able to illustrate the aggressive nature of the disease and how quickly this type of cancer spreads following initial symptoms. This next week in ISM I will begin preparing for my final presentation night speech where I will present all of my work from throughout the year.
