Week of 1/22 - 1/26

This past week in ISM I was able to reflect on my previous interviews and research. I completed my 5th interview assessment, when I reflected on all the information I gained while talking to Dr. Callan. Because of the immense amount of information Dr. Callan gave me, I am excited to be working with her as my mentor, and have my focus being on orthopedic oncology. In addition I have began preparing for my Original work speech where I will reflect on everything I have learned thus far. This will be the longest speech I have ever given. I am both excited for the opportunity, but also nervous for the large amount of information I will be sharing. Finally I have got in contact with my mentor, and had the background check completed and verified. Having this done, I was able to schedule my first mentor visit. I am looking forward to being able to meet with Dr. Callan and begin the mentorship process. This upcoming week in ISM I will begin to organize and prepare for my first mentor visit. I will set up my mentor visit log, and create my first mentor visit plan. In addition this upcoming week I will be completing my product proposal for my final product.
